The Characters page is mainly used to store your characters in browser cookies. This lets you use the same characters on all of the report pages without needing to type them on each page. This page also gives easy access to Fisu and Honu links for each character.
The report pages generate tables and charts to showcase different data.
General - common all-time stats such as time played, kills, k/d, etc.
Infantry - stats based on infantry classes such as how many times you have killed a medic or died to an infil, etc.
Weapons(beta) - hastily added page to show medal distribution since I like to see auraxium medals.
StatFuse is a site made to easily provide statistics from all* of your characters, including totals/averages. This is primarily designed to report on alt characters, but the tables and charts do also provide the ability to easily compare multiple characters.
*may or may not be able to handle all your characters, some of you nutcases have more than the 16 that I allow you to run a report with.
One thing to note, I have never made a website before and this is my first large project. I expect some issues will pop up and QoL features will be missing. Please reach out to me with the information below if you have any errors/requests.
- Added Infantry report page, this is an early version without any graphs yet
- Fixed an incredibly stupid error that was causing reports to not work
- Added 30 second timeout for reports, this should prevent most of the 502/504 errors
- Added quicker timeout for API calls with a max of 3 retries, this should avoid some of the issues with occasional failed responses
- Added a very early concept of a portion of the Weapons page, this may be a separate medal report page in the future
- Added some info to the main page
- Replaced the doughnut charts on the General page with bar charts
- Opening report pages from the Characters page will now automatically run the report with the saved characters
- Changed half of the charts on the General page to be hidden by default, this is an attempt to indicate that the buttons show/hide the charts
- Added buttons to toggle chart visibility on the General page
- Fixed issue that caused a report to fail due to a character with no stat_history entries
- Added faction colors to the table rows
- (Hopefully) Improved UX for running reports
- Moved legend for the doughnut charts, I'd like to do more formatting on these charts in the future
